The DRF is currently being financed by Dr. Raisuddin Ahmad who took a significant amount of his money earned overseas and taken to Bangladesh to provide funds for this organization. This process of funding has been continuing. The founder's father voluntarily gave a large chunk of his lands for building up infrastructure and to produce crops for DRF. Dr. Ahmad also purchased some lands in Charkashim Nagar and Char Sayet in Belabo Upozilla for conducting activities of DRF. Some income is being generated from the profit earned from the integrated farming of poultry, fishery and livestock, and agricultural crop production. His brothers and sisters have provided some support for such activities. One of his brothers has been putting a lot of time and effort in Bangladesh to provide management support to DRF.

Profit making farming activities, NGO activities, and the establishment of selective international standard academic institutions for income generation have been planned and in the process of execution in order to build up funds for DRF. Further fund raising activities are being planned.Dr. Ahmad is deeply committed to spend a major part of his future income for activities to be carried our by DRF.
