Dr. Raisuddin Foundation (DRF)
is an international organization having its birth
place in the village of Charkashim Nagar in Belabo
Upozilla of Narsingdi District in Bangladesh.
Charkashim Nagar is located at a distance of 85
km to the northeast of Dhaka City and 15 km north
from Morjal on the Dhaka Sylhet Highway between
Narsingdi Sadar and Bhairab Bazar. It is very
well connected with Dhaka and other nearby towns
and cities by paved roads and is about one and
a half hour drive by car from Dhaka City. Although
the activities of this organization actually started
quite a while ago, it has formally started operating
as a registered organizaton from January, 2008.
The organization is founded by Dr. Raisuddin Ahmad
who is a geologist by profession and a university
academic of international reputation and a gallant
freedom fighter of the liberation war of Bangladesh.
The DRF has offices in Australia, Bangladesh,
Canada, Japan, and the United States of America
and has a vision of expanding its juridiction
throughout the world in the near future.

The
DRF aims to foster and promote valued education in Bangladesh
and in other developing countries. This also aims to
boost agricultural production, establish preservation
and storage facilities of food products, build awareness
among the people on nutrition and health care, pure
and safe drinking water, global climatic change, cancer,
aids and other life threatening diseases, protect and
build safe environment and to promote scientific and
social research for a better living for mankind. The
organization intends to establish small-scale agro-based
industries in Bangladesh as well as in other developing
countries and also to operate microcredit systems among
the low income earners in the society in order to bring
about their economic development.
DRF
will always endeavour to strengthen brotherhood, good
relation and harmony among people irrespective of their
color, race, ethnic, social, religious and national
origin and to establish world peace. This will remain
ever committed to put constant effort in creating a
safe and peaceful world for the present and the future
generations.
